Mordisco
Mordisco Barcelona
Our home, on the prettiest passage in Barcelona
Mordisco is our iconic restaurant, located just off Passeig de Gràcia. Unmistakable for its green bitten letters on the façade —written in the Mordisco typeface designed by Eskenazi. Inside, photos hang telling the story of the place, a well-known meeting point in 1980s Barcelona.
Our chef, Rubén, is still part of the team more than three decades later.
Ten years ago now, interior designer Sandra Tarruella took charge of renovating the current premises, covering the inner courtyard with a large greenhouse that is now our main dining room. A space full of light, greenery and life. This is where you'll find the famous Mariscal painting that has always been with us.
The legendary Mordisco bar remains the meeting point for a fascinating crowd of friends: creatives, journalists, artists, writers… At Mordisco, you always feel accompanied.
Upstairs you'll find several spaces for events, exhibitions and celebrations. The warmest corner of our home.

Indulgence and recipes straight from the heart
Our kitchen is local, honest and wholesome, yet imaginative. The produce is the star. Rosa Esteva's classic recipes are complemented by seasonal suggestions and daily specials.
The seasons and care are present both on the menu and in the surroundings. Mediterranean cuisine prepared with quality fresh ingredients and nods to fine dining.
Our waiters are the hosts. Feel like part of the family.
